Meath Women?s Refuge and Support Services (MWRSS) is a domestic
violence support service, and we provide a wide range of support
services including emergency refuge accommodation, outreach support in
the community and a children?s programme. MWRSS has a catchment area
of Co. Meath. We have been working in the community for over **Apply

women and children experiencing domestic violence. We work closely
with a wide range of stakeholders to fulfil our mission statement and
seek innovative responses to domestic violence in Co. Meath.
WE ARE LOOKING TO RECRUIT A REFUGE SUPPORT WORKER (FIXED TERM
CONTRACT) TO COVER A VARIETY OF SHIFTS.
CANDIDATES REQUIRE A LEVEL 7 OR EQUIVALENT IN APPLIED SOCIAL STUDIES
OR AN EQUIVALENT PROFESSION E.G., COUNSELLING, NURSING, SOCIAL WORK
AND REGISTERED WITH A PROFESSIONAL BODY.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Refuge Support shifts will cover a variety of shifts including sleep
overs, day shifts, joint working, lone working, weekends, and
unsociable hours.
